The self-rimming style is very convenient and versatile. This style is for use with new or existing floors to replace standard metal registers. Drop-in style can be used in almost any application, including wood, tile, carpet, vinyl and sheetrock. A 1-inch lip rests on top of the flooring surface. Adjustable dampers are available for standard sizes.
